We have an immediate opening for a Landscape Architecture professional. We are interested in hearing from talented individuals, clear thinkers, good communicators, multi-taskers, design oriented realists with vision and moxie. We work with diverse clients and consultant teams in a wide range of public and private landscape projects. The vast majority of our work is in the Bay Area and all of it is in California.
Our office is a Mac based environment. Our drafting program is Power CAD. Degreed candidates with three or more years of experience are encouraged to contact us. For a description of our vision and examples of our work, please explore our website.
Qualifications:- 3 to 7 years experience in landscape architecture design practice
- Bachelors or Masters in Landscape Architecture
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, Drafting Programs (not necessarily PowerCAD), and spreadsheets; Google SketchUp or other 3D modeling programs a plus
Specific skills ideally include the following:
- Strong speaking, listening, writing, and leadership skills.
- A penchant for identifying what needs to be done and spearheading the search for a solution.
- Experience managing drawing files for complex projects.
- Experience with the technical complexities and details of landscape design and construction is a must.
- Strong graphics skills, including preparation of presentation renderings and facility with 3-D modeling programs.
- Experience with a range of project duties including cost estimates, specifications, site detailing, bid documents and scheduling. Experience with civic projects and balancing the needs of a wide range of project 'stakeholders'.
- Familiarity with regional ecosystems, local politics, and city agencies.
- Ability to participate in collaborative project teams and coordinate deliverables/deadlines with co-workers, clients, and consultants throughout all phases of a project.
- Willingness to perform a range of project, marketing, and office management duties.
