This life science building was originally designed by Ricardo Legorreta and is now being improved by Flad Architects. Landscape scope includes renovating the 3rd floor and 6th floor roof deck with spaces for amenities for the tenant. The 3rd floor green roof is designed as a contemplative space featuring a meandering deck with wood finish porcelain pavers, various sizes of gathering spaces with circular benches and movable tables, and surrounded with undulating topography of vegetation. Many pollinator planting materials, that are endemic in the area and promote beneficial insect populations, are used throughout. The 6th floor roof deck is designed for events, daily outdoor meetings and for outdoor eating. It includes large raised tree planters, with movable tables and chairs and an outdoor kitchen combined with a seating counter as a centerpiece.
