531 Bryant St.
San Francisco, California

531 Bryant Street is a 5-story commercial building with a 950 sq. ft. rooftop terrace offering panoramic views of the SF skyline. Features include raised planters, seating, tables, and an informal zen like garden with a meandering walkway and boulder seating.

The east courtyard is open to the public during the day and is beautifully landscaped with boulder and timber seating, shade tolerant planting, and sculptures that celebrates the Soma Filipino heritage district in which the project is located. As well, a 20’ long mural by local artist Vivian Capulong is exhibited on the east wall of the courtyard.

A 7,000 gallon underground cistern is located under the east courtyard which collects the stormwater from the roof deck to be reused for irrigation throughout the site. A small patio is provided between the two micro retail spaces with boulder seatings. This is a LEED Gold certified project.
