The Union

The Union
532 Union St, Oakland, CA

The Union is a community-focused mixed-use building located just three blocks from the West Oakland BART station. It has 110 apartments as well as more than 3,000 square feet of commercial space with a parking garage offering space for both cars and bicycles. The five levels built over the concrete podium are constructed with modules that were manufactured offsite at Factory OS. Modular design significantly reduces construction time and cost and is becoming a more popular method, especially as the industry experiences supply chain constraints with building materials.
